Life
Autumn has arrived in Bodø, and with it the dark evenings that are perfect for books and TV series. Weekends are for getting outside while there's still some daylight left, and the occasional road trip with my fiancée.
Work
Still building software for a living, as I have for almost 20 years now – frontend, backend, mobile apps, databases and whatever else the day calls for. Lately that includes figuring out where AI tools actually help, and where they don't.
Writing
I'm working on a longer post with my thoughts on AI: how I use it, and what I think about it (for now). It'll show up under writing when it's done. I'm also putting more of my life on this site: a reading log, a watching log, photos and short notes.
Gear
I just ordered a Fairphone 6 along with Fairbuds and Fairbuds XL, with the plan of replacing my iPhone, AirPods and Bose headphones. A review will follow once I've lived with them for a while.
No post reveals it yet, but I'm also back on the Linux train, spending time configuring Fedora 44. A new (used) laptop for it is on its way!
